Key role requirements and responsibilities:
    7 yrs plus experience with a main contractor
    3rd Level qualification in relevent construction related area.
    Computer literacy essential with particular reference to Buildsoft estimating software packages.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    Flexible with a positive attitude to change.

    Roles & Responsibility


    Knowledge of the various forms of Contract.
    You will be required to responsible for the preparation of tenders from receipt of documents to submission of tender.
    Preparing and collating tenders by a given deadline based on the scope of work, plans, specifications, BoQ, schedules and inspections
    Sourcing pre contract information
    Negotiation with sub-contractors
    Analysing sub-contractor quotations and checking inclusions and exclusions
    Ability to take off quantities from drawings will also be required
    Other activities include participating in tender adjudication meetings and pre-contract meetings re successful tenders
    Manage the operation and personnel workload in the office
    Ensure that adequate resources are maintained
    Examine all incoming tenders and report at WIP meetings
    Liaise with Company Management with regard to contract potential
    Oversee the production of all enquiries
    Identify the potential risks in projects
    Investigate different scenarios for the construction of the contract
    Rate the bill of quantities taking into account the programme and scenarios
    Produce a price and final summary sheet for review with Company Management and the MD or their appointed representative
    Submit the tender on time.
    Ensure in-house database is fully updated before and after the contract with design teams, price and results
    Ensuring compliance and promoting good work practices in relation to Health and Safety management systems
    Establish a good working relationship with our client base
