We are a dynamic and well established international telecoms company with a significant presence in Ireland, in the Midwest area of Ireland. Due to continued global growth in our core markets we are now hiring a Product Manager. This is a permanent role, based full time on site in Shannon, in County Clare.
Job Description
In this challenging role, you will be fully responsible for competitiveness and quality of our revenue product and solution portfolio. This will include maintaining a market-driven roadmap and overseeing its implementation and for providing end-to-end management of products both technically and commercially, including both customer facing and internal activities. Key tasks will include managing the product throughout its lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision for product planning and product marketing purposes as well as working closely with Product Development to deliver winning products. You will work with sales, marketing and support organizations to ensure revenue targets and customer satisfaction goals are met. You will work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities as needed and you will perform product presentations, demos and business case workshops to customers.
Qualifications/Required Experience:
You have a primary degree in a relevant subject area (Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or Electronics) and you have a deep background in the telecommunications sector. You have solid product marketing management experience, gained with a BSS/OSS vendor or telecom operator. You have a proven track record in defining and launching real-time charging and billing software products. You have an excellent ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
As this role will involve a significant level of on-going international travel (circa 40%) you should be comfortable this aspect of the role.
