Aer Arann are delighted to invite applications for the position of HR Officer. Reporting to the HR Manager this role will have responsibility for managing day to day employee issues and related administration. This presents an exciting opportunity for a junior HR professional to gain excellent broad HR experience in a fast paced and challenging industry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
    Management of recruitment processes end to end, from selection through to offer.
    New employee inductions & management of the leaver process.
    Assist and advise management on employee relation issues, complying with legislation and ensuring consistency across the organisation.
    Staff handbook & policy updates as required.
    Represent HR at interdepartmental meetings and meetings with external third parties as required.
    Maintenance of HR system, including entering weekly absence information for all departments, new hires, leavers, payroll changes etc.
    Extraction and analysis of reports from the system.
    PO administration for the department.
    General administration duties relating to the HR function.
    Produce accurate and professional correspondence as required.
    Undertake project work relating to a range of HR disciplines.
Ideal Candidate:
    Proven track record in a HR/Admin role, with a minimum of 1 years experience.
    HR/CIPD qualification preferred.
    Good knowledge of current Irish employement legislation is required.
    Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.Ability to manage work time under pressure, prioritise effectively and work on own initiative.Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
    Proactive & professional approach, with a proven ability to maintain confidentiality in dealing with HR issues.
    Effective planning and organisation skills with a proven ability to prioritise work to achieve objectives within required timescales.
    Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and to take personal responsibility for delivering high quality results.
