• Provide leadership & supervision of logistics, planning, procurement, supply chain, warehousing and to manage these tasks directly
• Vendor Base Management:
o Establish and maintain excellent Vendor relationships
o Deploy SLA and KPIs to vendor base to ensure adherence to required statement of work
o Lead negotiations with vendor base
o Lead Product introductions to vendor base, and product end of life projects
• ERP Management. Ensure all aspects of ERP system are optimized to support a lean best in class manufacturing service organization. (BOMs, MRP Flags, Kanbans, Inventory Accuracy)
• Develop and maintain world class logistics plan to achieve excellent cost, environmental and inventory days targets
• Responsible for budget control, and adherence to cost targets
• Strive to achieve optimum cost base for all commodities
• Maintain excellent inventory control, in a complex environment
• Support Management systems within ISO standards
Experience:
• Third level qualification in Manufacturing, planning, purchasing, logistics, or related field desiredand 5+ years experience in a similar role
• Experience in a similar or related role
• High-level leadership and decision-making skills
• Able to motivate, influence, and train people
• Able to interact with all professionals of Plant Management or Customers
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Navision would be a distinct advantage
• Proficiency in SAP would be an advantage
