Solutions Consultant (Billing & Mediation Services) for a fast growth mobile applications company which requires in-depth experience of the telecomsOSSindustry, telecommunications technology and software architecture and design best practices. The solution consultant must be able to define optimal and consistent architecture and design solutions for multiple projects and ensure that best practice software engineering practices are applied working cross functionally within the organizations services and engineering teams. The role involves short business trips in EMEA up to 25% interfacing with customers on requirements definition and all aspects of project delivery and to define the end to end architecture of the solution based on formal requirements and workshops. You will work with sales team in customer engagements near the end of the pre-sales cycle to help advise and influence the customer on options for solving their business needs and support the technical services engineers; interfacing with product management team regarding product features, releases and issues.

To get this role you will have a degree and more than 7+ years of experience in the telecommunications / mobile industry in a client facing role – at least 3 years in a technical solutions role with a proven record dealing with multiple customers managing complex systems integration projects. Technically you will have strong UNIX skills and good knowledge of Telecommunication Networks software & Protocols AND or Billing / Mediation systems. You will have solid UNIX Scripting skills and good Oracle Skills as well as skills around design and development methodologies / project lifecycle in terms of implementation and integration. You will be mobile and available to travel short hop 25% and enjoy customer engagements / problem solving
